Who needs napkins to wipe your hands when you've got hair?
Madelyn mainly eats things that she can feed herself with her hands so they are filthy at each meal! Nine times out of ten, so is her hair. She rubs her grimy hands all over her dark strands. It's gross and funny all at once.
Since we feed her very few things that require utensils, I was starting to think she may have forgotten what a spoon was. Since I don't want to have a little princess that eats everything with her bare hands when she goes on her first date (being overly dramatic here), I decided it was time to let her try to feed herself something that required the use of a spoon. Below is the outcome.
Needless to say, she's pretty resourceful.
I'm thinking this next phase of eating is going to require a splatter box.
Follower of Jesus, wife of Luke, & mommy to Madelyn. I love photography, attempting to sew, cooking, creating new things, Uganda, am addicted to spray paint and drink too much diet dr. pepper.
Mr. Wonderful Himself
My high school sweetheart of a hubby who happens to be my best friend & the one who keeps me laughing constantly. He's the most passionate man I know. Loves Jesus, his family and good music.
The Light of Our Lives
Madelyn Kate, our unexpected little miracle. She's equal parts sweet, spunk and sass. We love her dearly and could not be more blessed!
Nathan used to do the same thing! He has since grown out of it, there is hope!

ReplyDeleteLOVE the pic where she picked up the bowl & is drinking it from the side! LOL!
