We spent Saturday at the zoo in Brownsville. It was so crowded but still so pleasant! The animals were lively and fun to watch. Madelyn was pretty sleepy because we had just eaten a wonderful lunch and it was about that time, but she seemed to really have fun. Before we left the house she kept trying to put a picture of Aunt Kenda in her bag. We decided she was wanting Kenda to come to the zoo with us so we let her come along for the ride.
It's pretty obvious from the last picture that she was zonked by the time we were finished. She passed out in the car rather quickly on the way home! Gigi and Papa watched the little one while Luke and I went out on a date. We went to the outlets for a little bit, over to Best Buy (we ALWAYS end up their on dates), ate a late, yummy dinner and then enjoyed some ice cream goodness at Ben & Jerry's! It was such a great day.
