r.e.a.d.

Madelyn's favorite thing to play with is her books. She turns the pages. Chews the corners. Jabbers away as she looks at the pictures. She adores them. She will sit still while an entire Dr. Seuss book is being read to her. She has about 25 books in a basket under our coffee table in the living room and that is the first thing that she goes for when she wants to play.



I am pretty sure she is going to be a genius because of her love affair with books. Or just a book worm. We shall see.

Oh, and just in case you were wondering...the spots aren't gone. I just took these pictures the morning of the day Madelyn got sick. She's still Miss Speckles for the next day or two!
