sunshine, slides and swings

Madelyn thinks being outside is the coolest thing since grilled cheese. She loves it. She constantly stands at the back door and points as if she is dreaming of being out there. Until last month, I always thought living somewhere that was cold and snowy on a regular basis during the winter would be amazing. Now that I have a toddler and have experienced a few stretches of days that were too cold to play outside for very long, I'm rethinking that. It was pretty darn cold while we were in Oklahoma. The day before we left it warmed up in the afternoon enough to spend a little time outside.

We found a park around the corner from my Grandma's house that we had never been to before.There was sunshine.
There were slides.

There were swings.



Madelyn was in heaven.
