Madelyn woke up this morning and said, "I want to paint a picture for my people". How can you turn that down? So she painted.

A picture for Aunt Kenda.

A picture for Great Granny.

Horses for Papa.

"Will you paint one for me, Madelyn?"

"My painter is broken. I'm done painting. Maybe next time, Mom."

I am just glad she was so sweet and thoughtful to make one for each of her "people". Love my girl (even if she won't paint ME a picture-you know, the one that carried her inside me for 9 months)!
