Yesterday Madelyn turned 8 months old (my baby girl is turning in to such a big girl) and to celebrate, we gave her some green beans for dinner. At first she was less than convinced that this was an acceptable "birthday treat". However, it did not take long for her to realize how fun it was to smash them with her fingers and chomp on them with her gums. She ate nearly a cup of green beans! I was impressed!
