On the first, we hosted an engagement party for Luke's little sister and her fiance. We are so very excited for Kenda and Michael and have witnessed their love for each other! It's hard to believe his baby sister is getting married, but we definitely wanted to celebrate their engagement!
Luke's parents drove up for the weekend, Aunt Ann drove over from Fort Worth and some friends of theirs as well as Michael's family all came over for a backyard BBQ in the Mr. and Mrs. To-be's honor!
Apparently Madelyn LOVES corn on the cob! She ate two!
Aunt Ann, who is probably one of the most thoughtful people I have ever met, made Michael a book of pictures from Kenda's childhood. It was so sweet and fun to look at!

Madelyn had so much fun swimming and running from person to person. She gave lots of hugs and kisses before heading to bed in her monster pajamas!
Dinner was delicious thanks to the hubby and my father-in-law who manned the grill.
It was a special night celebrating two very special people.
Love is definitely in the air!
