Yesterday we took you to the East Texas State Fair. This is this last weekend, so we thought we would walk around a little bit and grab some lunch. There were a lot of people there for the food and walking around to see some of the exhibits. Your favorite thing to see...the giant sand sculpture.
I tried to get you to smile for the camera but you kept trying to stretch to look at it some more.

The best part about the fair...the yummy hamburger that we ate! It was by far the best hamburger I have had in a long time! You snacked on goldfish and apple juice (and a few french fries) while Daddy and I ate lunch.
We thought we were going to be able to see the Sea Lion show but the local news stations had the times wrong. Instead we just stood and watched them from the fence. You weren't sure what to think.
High fives for Daddy!!
You were so tired that you slept the whole way home and napped a little longer once we got there.
Next year I am sure that you will be ready for a few rides with your cousins!Love you,

Sea lions!? We used to have sea lions at the Abilene zoo--it was the best part. You could sit on an observation deck and just watch them play. We haven't had them for years--what a cool thing to have at the fair!
