yesterday.

I am so excited that you responded to my last post! I can't wait to check out all the new (to me) blogs! It's so crazy how I have started to feel like I really know the people that I read about daily. Your words were too sweet.

Yesterday we took Madelyn to the doctor. We went knowing that there probably would not be any new information and that was the case.

Basically, if she is continuing to have these problems at a year of age (gasp!) then she will be a candidate to have it surgically (double gasp!) corrected.I received a phone call from the nurse at the doctor's office this morning telling me that her pediatrician had spoken with the specialist in Dallas again. If after 2 weeks of Madelyn being on the 3rd medication there is no improvement and her reflux still seems to be getting worse, we will need to go see him.

This is the third time we have had to add the 3rd medication. The first time she didn't seem to need it so we never actually gave it to her. The second time it really hurt her stomach and we gave it up after a week. Third time's a charm??

After the doctor's office we went out to lunch, stopped by a new children's boutique, grabbed some yummy desserts from a delicious local bakery, went to Bergfeld park, visited with work friends from Birdwell Elementary where I worked last year and made a quick stop by Hobby Lobby on the way home. It was a beautiful day!

Today I have yet to get dressed (cringe). These are the things that I don't really like to admit for fear that Madelyn will look back and think I was a slob. The thing is, I have been working on a few things this morning. Freeing up hard drive space. Backing up pictures. Taking pictures of bows and scrapbooks. Coming up with a cute "store" name for my sister and I's booth at the craft fairs we are going to attend. Taking a shower and getting dressed just has not made the cut...yet.

So that is what I am about to do. At 3pm in the afternoon. Yuck. I smell like a foot.

Tonight I am going to post a sneak peak at the Bitter Berry Boutique. Get excited :)
