Sunday night when we made it home from OKC, Madelyn noticed one of her unwrapped presents under the tree right away. She kept trying to pick it up and open it, but had no luck considering it was a big container of wooden blocks. 
When I was little we would beg and beg relentlessly to open presents early. My parents usually gave in at least once and it made me laugh as I watched Madelyn start that little tradition early.
She loves them and we have been building with them ever since!
