Tonight we went to my parent's house for dinner. My Uncle Mark (Dad's brother) made it in to town from Arizona for the weekend so we took Madelyn on over to meet him. Somehow I didn't think to get a picture of the two of them together, but I know there will be time for that.
I have a feeling the whole family is going to need back and neck massages in the months to come with how much Madelyn loves to walk.

My dad was making all sorts of silly faces and talking to Madelyn in his famous Donald Duck voice and she thought it was just the greatest thing (or maybe she was laughing because she was wondering why a grown man was acting so silly). Sometimes I wonder if she thinks the "big people" around her are crazy...most of us will do just about anything for a laugh or even just a smile.
One thing is for sure...there is no doubt that she is loved.
Family has to be one of life's greatest treasures.
