Mom's Lunch

Today Madelyn and I headed to a Mom's Lunch at my sister's church. I was pretty excited because my friend, Jenna, was meeting us there! I look forward to every chance we get to hang out together! The food was yummy. We were in good company! I am so glad that we went! Madelyn pretty much slept through the whole thing. She only woke woke up when it was over the say bye to Kolson.

It's hard to tell in this picture that Kolson is 4 months older than Madelyn!

Kolson was trying to give Madelyn some love, but she was too sleepy to even flash a smile his way.

I think the face that Madelyn is making in this picture with Jenna is hilarious...

After the lunch we came home so that Madelyn could get some play time in with her Granny. She loved the time she spent playing on the floor and giggling at Granny!

She has really started to tolerate a little more tummy time these days. She will play for 10-15 minutes at a time before getting frustrated. So far she has still only rolled over on the bed but when she is on the floor she gets pretty close! She has started to really pull her legs up under her as if she is trying to figure out the whole crawling thing (which I am sure is still a long way from happening).

When I look at pictures like the one right above this, I can't help but think about how fast time is going by...how quickly Madelyn is growing. Every day she does something new. I know that some day I will look up and she will be walking out the door on her first day of school. Until then, I will enjoy these precious days at home with my little sweetheart.
