drum roll please...

Since I have been staying at home on bed rest, I spend at least 20 minutes a day browsing through Etsy and admiring everyone's craftiness! My first attempt at something that I did not think I would be able to do...bows...ended up being much easier than I thought it would be! I have had so much fun making bows for our little girl! Good thing, considering she has a head full of hair.

Today, I decided I would try something new...applique onesies! They are super cute and I have almost bought one off Etsy about 10 times! I love the one-of-a-kind personalized look. Since we have about 10 plain white onesies of various sizes that we have been given, I thought I would give it a shot. This afternoon my mom and I headed to the fabric store to pick out a few fabrics to play with (I was a little disappointed in the selection but managed to find a few cute ones to test out). *Can I interject here and say that it has been nice to be able to get up and around a little more lately? The doc said it's Ok to be up more as long as I am smart about what I do. A trip to the fabric store...harmless!* When I actually got started on the onesie...it was so much easier than I thought it would be!

Drum roll please...
Of course I had to make her a matching bow to go with it!

I am sure I will have some more to share tomorrow night! Tonight has been much better than last night. I had several (more like 15) contractions...in a row...evenly spaced...and more intense than I have ever experienced! I began to wonder if we were going to have to go to the hospital! After about an hour + of those pesky things, they finally tapered off! Phew! Tonight I have not felt even the smallest of contractions, just a little girl with the hiccups bouncing around. I am going to miss feeling her wiggle around inside of me (even though sometimes I beg her to stop kicking my bladder).

Ok...off to dream of the next onesie I am going to make!
